I think we should keep the name. It has never been a problem before.

Its been schools mascot and heritage for years,orange black colors indians is part of many.. generations have went to school there and our mascot always have been the indians.. back in the day native americans walked lived this area,. its part of skowhegan iys part of the town people in it children im 44 and many generations before i its always been indians.. like the wooden indian thats part of skowhegan and its history,just like our mascot the indian.. change is sometimes nice but this wouldnt be nice its history keep it alive and keep it for our childrens mascot and there kids,i find it upsetting that its even being considdered. isnt right black orange indians should remain. read the history of skowhegan norridgewock natives were all around there back in the day.. wooden indian and our mascot was biggest thing still is to me today part of all our history and memories please dont change that.
