Eden needs this daycare to remain open. My daughters attended over 30 years ago. My daughter right now has to carry my granddaughter to Reidsville for childcare and that’s shameful. I support Perkins daycare

As a former attendee and co-worker of Perkins Daycare I can say that this was a home away from home. It’s here that I was able to feel the same love and care I would feel if I were at my Auntie’s or grand-parents. The love, nurturing and support helped mold my life today. As a former employee, this was my first job! I learned the values, morals, responsibility as well as accountability that has helped me build my very own successful business as developed work ethics throughout careers in the past. Perkins is a pillar and important part of the community and Elretha Perkins has lead with wisdom, love, grace and fairness. She is well respected throughout the community because of commitment to serving from her heart as a servant leader!

Worked there years ago,a good place to work,It's a shame you trying to take something she worked all her life for,Parents need somewhere to leave their kids while they work,no other places available around here that's for sure!

As a child my siblings and I use to go to Perkins daycare and all I remember are good things about the center... The staff and the owner Alretha treated the children as if they were her own. I say keep it going!

Please don't close. Think about the children and how happy they are. I don't have children that go there but I have heard nothing but great things about it. It's very few and far and in between to find a day care that put the children 1st.

My granddaughter spent last summer at Perkins and she loved it, I had no issues or concerns. Ms.Perkins was mire than gracious with giving me what my granddaughter needed at a price I could afford..

Perkins will NOT close without a fight. I remember Elrethas mom keeping me and my brother when we were young kids. I pray you look into this with exactly only facts, and not what you think.

I grew up in this daycare. I dont know at what age I started going there but was 12 when I quit going. I absolutely loved everyone there!! If I lived in Eden, my girls would definitely be there after school!! They aren't just a daycare, they are family. From Mrs. ReeRee, Alan, Rachelle, Mrs. Thelma, Mrs. Geraldine, and many many more, they all helped shape who I am today! And for that I am FOREVER grateful!!
