Recreational use is a small part of this issue.
Nonetheless; consider publishing, educating & enforcing the current regulations.

We need an effective phosphorus detection (i.e. current amount in the lake, current added phosphorus from all sources and a robust scientific model of how the level of phosphorus is really trending) program to understand how much of an issue, if any, we have and then how steps being proposed impact that.

Water quality in LLB is determined by the six upstream lakes. These proposed regulations are ridiculous and are unfounded.

No other lakes in the area have this draconian measure. Summer is short. Let the people have some fun.

Let people have fun isn’t that what lake life is about

There are multiple factors affecting the lake quality ie phosphorous runoff, carp population, winds, boats, boat type, etc, etc, etc.
Real data (scientific data) needs to be collected with constants in place before making sweeping changes that affect lake usage, areas of concern, hours of operation and ultimately home values.
As it relates to boating, we are taking about 3 months (12 weeks) out of the year that we should have hard data and numbers. As it is now - LLBMD is guessing at causal data.

We have enough rules - the lake is safe - Follow the lead of WDNR - we need no other changes.

Keeping the current rules and regulations is enough.

Wakesports and waterskiing are critical to the culture and enjoyment of the lake. Home purchasing decisions are also strongly influenced by the freedom people have to enjoy the lake however they see fit.

Very intrusive, unsafe, and ineffective
