IF Academ is an organisation that enables Swedish, international and exchange students at Malmö university to participate in sport activities. Among many disciplines, we offer football, basketball, volleyball, floorball and badminton on a bi-daily basis during the week.

Unfortunately, due to budget constraints and a directive from upper management of Malmö Högskola to privatize the Sport Hall facilities, we may be unable to provide the students of Malmö Högskola with these activities for the upcoming semester and in the future.

Therefore, if you are a student at Malmö University and/or if you believe that students should be able to continue practicing sports at the Orkanen Sport Hall with IF Academ, sign this petition.

With your signature, we (1) intend to identify the interest in sport activities, (2) raise the importance of affordable access to sport activities for students, and (3) promote IF Academ as an organization that not only enables you to have fun and a healthier living, but also connects students of a multitude of cultures, nations and backgrounds at one place - the University sports hall.
