Exemptions need to stay. If a student doesn't need to write an exam they have a high mark in, they shouldn't have to.

Our students are sometimes barely keeping up at the end of the term. The exemptions may be one avenue that makes those final weeks bearable. Please assist our students and keep exam exemptions as an option.

I believe it's important to have exemptions just as a reward for swing well enough in your class that you can not take on the added stress of having a final!

I went through High School and only ever used two exam exemptions. Once for a class that I would have lost a fair amount of marks in after the final because I did not have time to study it along with my diplomas and another was Math 31. That class had a needlessly long and arduous final even though it was not a required course. Therefore, I believe it would be foolish and arrogant for the school board to consider dropping the exemption system, as the many students in the high schools will have to face much more gruelling tests in college. Most students will have issues studying the material regardless of how many tests they have, so the school board should not be punishing those who do study. It is simply not fair.

If it weren't for example exemptions I wouldn't have attended nearly as much math 20 as I did and I probably would have failed it.

As a graduate of Hunting Hills High school speaking from my experience as a student there I strongly believe that exam exemption should continue to be allowed and encouraged.

Exam exemptions has helped many people in the school to get rid of stress during exam days. Having to study multiple classes for exams is very stressful. Keeping the exemptions will helped the students who are struggling with studying more than one subject will help them tremendously.

Exemptions have been here as long as we can remember. They are helpful for students taking stressful courses during the semester

I personally did not take advantage of the exemptions except for one but when I did the stress load of exams was lessened so much
