We, the undersigned, are concerned students of Eton College who wish to petition for the introduction of attainment grades into Eton College F Block comment cards (and possibly for other blocks as well). Although we understand that effort grades are of equal significance in judging our progress in class, we believe that attainment grades reflect more in terms of the quality of work produced by students, and furthermore make measuring your academic performance far more easily.

We propose simply that alongside the effort grades displayed on the student's comment card, an attainment grade (also measured using the A* to F grading system) be included as well.
