Petition to Install a Splash Pad at Estero Sports Park

With very limited options to cool down in SWFL, this splash pad is desperately needed. Please help children and families to stay cool while enjoying the park.

They need something like this for the kids could enjoy their days off from school.

We desperately need a splash pad in this area!

Our area of south Lee county is destitute when it comes to recreational water play. Currently, we’d have to travel to Cape Coral, Lehigh acres or collier county to enjoy a splash pad. It is unacceptable to ignore this need for families when the only comfortable way to be outside for most of the year is to be in water. We don’t need more food trucks, we need a splash pad.

Several residents from the greater Estero area, I have mentioned this to me. Of course they are all parents with children, but they are part of our community. So I hope we can include a splash pad.

We need a splash pad and a covered playground. Athletic fields will be used by younger families, not older seasonal residents.

Please install a Splash Pad at Estero Sports Park. There are many young families moving into the area who would greatly appreciate this addition to the park. Grandparents would be able to bring their grandkids. There are no local Splash Pads so this would be a welcome, well-used feature to the new park. Thank you for your kind consideration of this much needed & wanted improvement to our lovely, wonderful Estero Community.

This is needed so badly in our area, we currently drive to Babcock Ranch or Vineyards for a splash pad, with all the building in Estero this should be a priority for our young ones so they can play outside without us fearing the brutal heat we have here in SWFL.

We have so many young families that have moved into the area and nothing for their children to do. It’s too hot in the summer to play outside. Water is needed to cool the kids off. Please consider this!

A splash pad is needed for the youth in our area!! Not more food trucks….

Florida is way too hot especially in the summer and is best to keep the kids from overheating.
