Petition to Install a Crosswalk or Light on 4th & Obispo

Daniel Perkins I own a home two houses down from Obispo from this intersection. It is extremely hazardous to try to cross here from my family's experience. I agree that a study to consider whether a cross walk or signal would be merited would be a productive use of the city's resources. Please consider this soon. Thank you.

Lets get a light at this crosswalk.

Keep the neighborhood safe!

I used to live in this neighborhood, and have witnessed many people cross a busy street to go to get food. We could greatly benefit from a safe crossing zone here.

Crosswalk with flashing lights. Also, would be great to get flashing lights at the crosswalk on 4th and Orizaba.

The crosswalk provided at 4th and Orizaba could also benefit by having lights or reflectors to increase visibility. Many drivers pay no mind to people attempting to cross the street.

Intersection needs crosswalk

I personally don't like crossing this street when I bike to Hole Mole. If I drive there I take a different route to avoid having to cross here. It has always been difficult crossing 4th Street at Obispo. Two blocks south is also an elementary school. I bet there are parents & children who walk this route as well. I appreciate your consideration for the safety of our family, friends & neighbors.

Also flashing light are badly needed at the existing crosswalk by Ralphs, and better lighting!

I have lived a couple houses down from this intersection for two years and see people speeding every day. There are constant near misses of car accidents on a daily basis and It's it's heavily used as a place to cross by people all day and night. We definitely need a lighted crosswalk there.

Please make it safer for everyone who lives there!
