This is for my grandmama. I truly love and miss her and not a day goes by where I don't think about her. She suffered this terrible and yet mysterious disease and I only hope that the more and more people will share this and sign to help other families who are going through the same thing. God bless

December 30, 2014 we (Sandra and I) lost our mother, Lee Esther Floyd to Alzheimer's. This cruel disease robbed me and my siblings, our spouses, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless others who loved Mom of the most amazing woman. The last ten years of her life were a slow downward spiral of lost memories, a movement into a mental seclusion, a vortex of silence. She never lost her spirit to live or her faith, so there is somethings that not even disease can take from us. But for those of us left to watch in horror, Alzheimer's devastates families.
