• Whereas the undersigned persons ae those that travel on U.S. Highway 25 from Travelers Rest, S.C. to its intersection with S.C. Highway 11;
  
• Whereas, the condition of the pavement, lack of shoulders on the road, the lack of turning or deceleration lanes, and the many crossovers where vehicles are projected into lanes of travel while waiting for oncoming traffic to clear together MAKE THIS HIGHWAY UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS TO THOSE WHO TRAVEL ON IT;

Now, therefore, the undersigned have signed this petition in an effort to ask the South Carolina Department of Transportation to authorize a study of the highway as the first step in the process of addressing the needs of this important and heavily travelled corridor.
