We, the undersigned, wish to draw attention to an important gap in the passenger experience at Brussels Airport.

Airport lounges are designed to provide comfort, quality service, and a welcoming environment for international travelers. However, for passengers who observe kosher dietary laws, there are currently little to no suitable food options available.

This results in an unequal experience, where kosher-observant travelers are unable to benefit from the same level of service and hospitality offered to others.

Kosher travelers represent a significant and growing segment of international passengers. Addressing this need does not require major operational changes — simple solutions such as offering certified pre-packaged kosher meals or snacks, and clearly labeling suitable items, would make a meaningful difference.

We respectfully call upon airport authorities and lounge operators to take practical steps to ensure that kosher food options are available and accessible.

By doing so, Brussels Airport can further strengthen its reputation as an inclusive, forward-thinking, and passenger-focused international hub.
