I believe it's a wake up call for the operator.

It is ridiculous that these breakdowns should occur and continue during testing. We are not children not to know better. In any commercial enterprise, implementation of new systems will only occur when there is high probability of success. In this instance, the pressure to have more trains running must have been so great that you decided to "just do it"! I look forward to the CEO taking responsibility and stepping down and not continue to cling to his job.

Govt must do something abt it. Perhaps our ministers shld try gg to work via mrt to understand the situation better. Making the company private does not solve this big problem.

SMRT Chairman, Mr Koh Yong Guan, Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan and SMRT CEO Desmond Kuek, PLEASE LISTEN!!
Singapore is a tiny country, if you clowns cannot solve public transport issues that shows you're incompetent.
SO, PLEASE STEP DOWN!!

Singapore should be number one in everything. Number one in civil servant and minister's pay, number one in largest income gap in the world, and number one in train breakdowns. Majulah Singapore!
