Miss Utah, or Miss Virginia is not a Virgin Islander. Her accent is American? No family ties, nothing.

This decision was pure bs! Ms USVI should be someone tht was born in the VI been what we been thru n have experience wht we have. U cnt come from where u come from move here n win a crown for a place u know nothing about!

We need someone who knows the Vi history

Her presence as the (apparent) miss USVI is SUCH AN INSULT TO ME ITS SICK. Remove her!

In order to run for this pageant you MUST be a RESIDENT OF THE USVI or a FULL TIME STUDENT AT OUR UNIVERSITY. She was neither. From January 26, 2019 SHE RAN FOR MISS UTAH AS A RESIDENT OF THAT STATE. The deadline for submission to the Miss UNIVERSE USVI Pageant is April 30, 2019. To become a resident of the VI she had to live here for 90 days. That is a 95 day window from when she was a resident of UTAH and the deadline to to submit her application. In other posts it was shared that the pageant operator contacted them in JUNE way past the deadline because she new them personally. THIS WHOLE THING IS FRAUD!!!

As a virgin Islander it's not right nor is it fair that an Individual that knows nothing about the territory to represent me. She knows absolutely nothing about our heritage. It's a crying shame our ancestors are probably rolling in their grave as we speak.

Please have the young lady removed. She is not a true Virgin Islander. Stop insulting our islands and other Caribbean islands.
