Mr.Johnson is a really great teacher here at Seaside High and has been falsely accused of calling a student the N word. People think that they know the full story but they don’t so I’m here to tell you it. You can then sign the petition you think is right.

Mr. Johnson was not allowing these students to do their work in the conference room he made for students to hangout and where meetings for the student board are held, the reason being that they didn’t complete all their work the day before while they were in there. He told them they couldn’t hangout in the conference room because he wanted them to do their work. The students got mad and started yelling at Mr. Johnson saying F you and other foul language. He asked her to leave because she was being rude and while they may say this was a lie there was a parent who witnessed all of this go down. The student then proceeded to call him the N word and left saying she was gonna tell admin about this. There is still more to the story.While he was having a PRIVATE meeting with the principal and the parents of these students. Someone decided to secretly record the conversation WITHOUT consent (which is illegal by the way and they can get sued for this) the person recording proceeded to ask him over and over what the student called him basically forcing him to address it and while the video does show him saying it. It is edited. If you listen closely the video paused at the N word and was slowed down for dramatic effect.

These students are lying because they want privileges they have yet to earn. We ask you kindly to sign our petition to bring him back. Though it may seem “selfish” of us, the music department is struggling and we truly need him back. Our drumline is being held back from performances because we have no teacher present as of right now, and our annual fall concert has been postponed until further notice. If this were a different case and he really did call the student the N word I would sign the other petition as well. We have teachers who really have said it before but no one did anything so why start now when Mr. Johnson didn’t even call the student it. This highly affects the Seniors as well in the music department who just want to have a good last year and enjoy their performances. Mr. Johnson truly is a good teacher who hasn’t done anything wrong but has tried to do the best he can at a new school and instead he’s been met with lies and accusations that were put on him for no reason.
