I would like my money because they got my money with no intentions of ever delivering. How do you show a car all ready built and say it's coming when they have'nt even tested it to see if it even works.

This is getting ridiculous. Obviously this company is in the business of sucking in money instead of building cars.

Elio is supposed to be doing more than making agreement and paying management using funds received from shareholders / reservation holders. The lack of capital is the problem and the never ending advertising by Elio (while having caveats built into agreements holding harmless Elio but not guaranteeing anything to shareholders/reservation holders) perpetuates the problem. Zero product and they have less than a quarter of the Capital needed. They should be shut down..... now. Before another "hoping" person buys another share or reservation. The government is not stepping in while people are losing money. It makes me wonder just what Elio must do to actually get the govt. to intervene. :(

FILE A FTC COMPLAINT. I paid $100 5/2015 for the Refundable Level. ELIO is refusing to refund my money. The production date has been pushed into 2017 and the price will be over $7,600. Plus the SEC says Elio has lost $53 Million in stock sales. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. NO WORKING PROTOTYPE CARS, JUST SHELLS. THIS IS A SHELL GAME MAKING PAUL ELIO RICH. THIS CAR WILL NEVER BE PRODUCED. I FILED A FTC COMPLAINT AS WELL.

I am reservation holder #3000 and have now been waiting over 3 years for Elio to got into production. When I made my reservation it was with the understanding that I would receive the 3000 car sold. Now have just announced they will only be selling to fleet customers (http://www.gizmag.com/elio-motors-100-pre-production/42312/). I have been lied to from the start and now I want my $1000 all-in reservation back.

I smell a rat. Being a retired mechanic, and having seen a new 3-wheeled vehicle at a motorcycle dealer that had a steering wheel, foot pedals, seat belts, front wheel drive, and much the same as what Elio has promised, there is no acceptable reason why they haven't built the damn thing after all the time has gone by. They are stalling on development, and consuming their financing sources to give themselves paychecks and perks to dry up the money well. I am disgusted that they expect their vendors to wait around another year to place orders with them for the parts and supplies, or that the Shreveport site leasors to wait forever for Elio to set a production date, while Elio dickers around playing with prototypes.....its all a scam. Build the damn thing, Stop trying to analyze a never-ending design, and settle on a one prototype for this year, allowing that other refinements and improvements, and substantive changes in design will justify a model year change down the road. That is what all the other car makers do. Besides, if the car was seen driving about, that would be the best advertising they could get for FREE! If they truly wanted to build this car, they would have already done so.
