Petition to Fast Track a NEW I-10 Bridge in Southwest Louisiana

I drive across this bridge 2 times daily & feel very unsafe doing so, please upgrade this bridge before doing work on 210.

What would the environmental impact be of 150 cars at the bottom of the Calcasieu River after a bridge collapse? Would Todd Landry be prosecuted for the deaths of all the motorist involved since he ignored all warning signs?

People are scared to go over the I-10 bridge

It's long past time to replace the I -10 bridge over the Calcasieu River. Revenue should be secured to eliminate whatever environmental problems that are preventing construction. Safety should be the primary concern here and that doesn't seem to mean anything to those holding up the process. Do your job and stop all the delays.

Have lived here all my life (over 60). I had the unfortunate opportunity to be out of my car on I10 bridge maybe 30 years ago, that was scary, the shaking of that bridge was to much then. I know that maybe expected but what could it be now?

We desperately need a new I-10 bridge, way before they shut down 2-10. The I-10 bridge scares me, I know it's dangerous & so afraid for all this traffic to be pushed to the one bridge, sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

The bridge is not safe and hasn't been for many years. . Too many vehicles and wrecks and lost lives .

Needs to come down way past its prime!!!!

I'm a native Louisianan from southwest La. This bridge is dangerous. The lighting is non existent at night. The concrete is definitely crumbling in the middle of beige all the way across it. The railing is over 60 years old. The top is rusty and bent. Ive nicknamed it "the white knuckle bridge". I believe that the entire area would benefit from this horrific rated bridge being replaced. It has served its purpose and I hope the state of Louisiana replaces it before something tragic happens like the bridge in Wisconsin a few years ago.

My concerns are the collapse of I-10, the deaths and injuries. 210 can wait. I-10 needs immediate attention.

I drive an 18 whlr and we need a wider, less steeper bridge. Our area has grown rapidly in the last yr and I never before saw traffic backed up like it is now. Please make us a safer bridge. Thx

Urgent need to repair I-10 prior to I-210 before tragic accidents occur.

What are they waiting for, one of the bridges to collapse. The money being spent on inspections would have been an investment on replacing the I-10 bridge
