Petition to Fast Track a NEW I-10 Bridge in Southwest Louisiana

Don't wait until it's too late! It's past due.

This is past due for replacement it poses a threat to the people everyday

It's time to make a move! It's time to make the repairs needed to keep this bridge up to code/standard, for everyone to remain safe.

We need to make driving through Lake Charles more secure for visitors and commuters. We also need to effectively deal with the hazardous waste in the waters around the bridge caused by PPG's past chemical leak.

We travel this bridge monthly with our two young children. It is terrifying that every time i drive over it, I'm gambling with our lives. Further, it's horrifying to know that many interstate travelers who may be unfamiliar with how treacherous this bridge is unknowingly endanger themselves when passing through Lake Charles. I'm fairly certain this city doesn't want to be remembered as, "that place where a hundred people plummeted to their watery deaths after the state knew for decades that bridge was structurally unsound. "

I am terrified every time I travel to my families home in Texas with my 2 yr old child

I authorize funds for complete construction.

Dangerous place to drive thru everyday.

Lots of friends, family, my wife, kids cross that bridge everyday or almost everyday. It worries me that someday, something happens to one of them of one of our community members

I cross that bridge back and forth to work and it is getting more and more dangerous. Also, Just pass by below it and we can clearly see the need for a brand new infrastructure

Just do this already!

Please replace this bridge

Please widen and lower the I-10 Lake Charles Bridge that crosses the Calcasieu River. I am in fear for my life every time I cross this bridge. Thank you.

I Use This Bridge At Least Twice a Week. I Was Not Aware Of The Danger I Been Driving On. Please Look At This Issue ASAP.

contact Congressman Clay Higgins and be first in line for infrastructure funds once bill is passed. Very Unsafe structure.
