I suggest keeping the current bridge, fixing it, making it all one direction and building a new one for the other direction. Just like they did with the Rainbow Bridge in Port Arthur, Texas.

I travel to Houston very often and do not feel safe when crossing this bridge.

It makes more sense build a new bridge than to wait for someone to be killed on it, then the state would pay more in lawsuits than a new one would cost. PAY ATTENTION!!!

LA. Politicians can worry about funding football stadiums, putting more able bodied people on welfare programs and other nonsense but not be bothered with possible loss of life and property damage caused by the disgracful condition of the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles. Stop talking and do something It's way past time for action.

Families are put at risk every single day by the states lack of concern on this matter. Mine being one of them. I can promise you that if this bridge fails and causes a disaster, retribution will be sought by many. Quit taking chances with out families and fix the problem.

With all the casinos in the Lake Charles area, seems like they can foor the bill due to without the bridge they will lose alot of business. Just a thought
