Petition to Fast Track a NEW I-10 Bridge in Southwest Louisiana

You're finally rid of Jindal. It's ok to raise taxes enough to spend the money on fixing the bridge. Who knows? You might even save some lives, or, at least, not cost anyone their lives.

I've been over this bridge several times. It was scary back in the 70's. 40 years later...seriously folks, this needs fixing.

I wonder if those in charge allow their families to cross this bridge?

There has been talk of rebuilding this bridge since the late 80's. It's time to quit discussing the height and how the bridge is going to damage the environment and get it built. They made the Golden Gate Bridge to span San Francisco Bay, surely they can build a bridge here that would't require any digging up of the relatively small span that would be over the water. We certainly don't want to see our families end up like the ones in MN when that bridge collapsed.

Do the right thing before people die. Fix the I-10 bridge. This is insanity.
