Petition to Fast Track a NEW I-10 Bridge in Southwest Louisiana

Please fix this bridge so we will be more at ease driving on it.

Please. We really need a safe bridge for our area. Please help us. When do the people of our community Calcasieu Parish get put on a Priority list for a change?

We need to get all these crews together to get these extremely important projects taken care of in less time to keep people coming to Louisiana. No one wants to travel in these construction areas so by working together the job is done in less time and we don't have people going somewhere else.

Common sense tells us that this bridge needs major work! Especially before 210. Common sense!

This bridge is a necessity and the longer it goes unattended to the higher the risk of injury/death to drivers. is this really something we want to put off even longer than it already has been?

I-10 bridge rebuild is more urgently needed than the southern addition to I-49. Fix what's broken, 1st!

I drive this bridge everyday. We need a better connection for the busiest road in the area

The I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge is NOT a Southwest Louisiana problem...it is a GULF STATES problem, from west Texas thru Florida! The most important travel and commerce corridor in the far south is being left to the whims of chance and time by self-involved politicians who care NOTHING about being economically (not to mention, ethically) proactive. Further, should the I-10 bridge fail, and ignoring the probable irretrievable loss of life, a bottleneck of EPIC proportions would be created, costing local communities for tens-of-miles in all directions billions of dollars in reallocated manpower, time and temporary infrastructure modifications...money WASTED when such an enormous expenditure could have been avoided entirely. Southeast Louisiana politicians need to come to their damn senses, and realize that SWLA's issue is THEIR issue, and the same goes for the rest of the Gulf States.

We need this bridge replaced before any other bridge or project.. Too much. Traffic ..act before something horrible happens.
