It has come to the attention of many 8th grade students that the new science teacher, Mr. Beavin, is asking students to complete regular character reflections, answering a series of personal questions based on a video clip. While Mr. Beavin's motives are understandable, the questions do not reflect the science curriculum in any way whatsoever and many students feel uncomfortable answering them. Below are the signatures of Sears School 8th grade students who endorse having these character reflections removed from the curriculum.
