I make trips to the Collegedale Greenway because I can legally carry there, but I live a lot closer to East Ridge. I would love to have a reason to frequent East Ridge once again.

Legally armed, lawful citizens are NOT a crime problem. It's the criminal that refuses to obey any laws, including these gunfree zones, that's the problem.

Law abiding citizens should not be forbidden the ability to protect themselves and their family from criminals who would wish to do us harm! It is our constitutional right to keep and bear arms who is East ridge city council to deny us of that fundamental right?
