The change we fought for is here; to be free to express our desire to see our environment develop above the era of barbaric activities is an aspect of the change: To arrest an artist for expression through the arts is not only wrong and against the law, but also contradicting what the change mantra of the present government of the APC stands for. Please release Jelili Atiku now!!!

Arresting Jelili Atiku and attempting to censor him will deprive society of valuable dialogue and debate. Thought-provoking artists such as Atiku should be celebrated not persecuted!

I join the call on the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, to drop the 4-count charge (No. MM/E/01/16 instituted citizen JELILI ATIKU. Every artiste should be allowed to exercise his/her right to freedom of artistic expression, especially when such is also his/her means of livelihood. FREE JELILI ATIKU NOW!!!
