This arrest is in contravention to the enshrined fundamental human right emptied by universal constitutions. Whoever occassioned this has flagrantly infringe on Jelili's and Art's right as a whole. This is an attack on art! Free Jelili!

I have watched Jelili's performances on international media. Very imaginative and thought provoking! Also going by his good nature he seeks permission from the community before his performances, So how come this was different? Or where his performances revealing somethings some people wish to keep in the dark? We demand his immediate an unconditional release! Thank You!

Jelili Atiku is first of all a pacifist, who denounces injustice, inequalities, corruption, careless for the world ressources, water in particular, through his visual art performances all over the World, notably in Paris where I saw his performance in July 2015. These accusations against him are really a nonsense!!

I believe that artistic expressions, even when critical, not only enrich our country's imperative dialogue across divides but they validate our claims to democratic credentials.

there needs to be an end to the intimidation of Jelili Atiku and his family. He is a great force for the good of humanity and through his art raises awareness local and international on issues to do with violance and human rights. He need to be supported into doing his art.
