While the station recently underwent some upgrades, the improvements are insufficient to meet current and future demand. Key issues that need to be addressed include:
Lack of weather protection: The station is not fully covered, making it difficult and uncomfortable for passengers to use during adverse weather conditions.
Safety concerns: There is no safe and convenient way to switch platforms, forcing passengers to cross the railway tracks, posing a safety risk.
Inadequate parking facilities: The current car park is insufficient to accommodate the growing number of commuters, leading to congestion and inconvenience.
Given the rapid development in the surrounding suburbs, we urge authorities to undertake a comprehensive upgrade to the station. Improvements should focus on better weather protection, enhanced safety measures, and expanded car parking to ensure the station can effectively serve the growing population now and in the future.
