For too long children have been allowed to wear clothing of an appropriate size when swimming. The time is now to act, friends, to bring this problem into the light, rather than the shadows, where it has been left to fester until it has become a national outrage. Those of us who have swum near, or towards children, have all had to watch without any legal power as children swam, laughing and smiling like they own the damn place, covered by clothing that is in no way ill-fitting. The arrogance this breeds in them is the single largest contributing factor to: a) global warming b) social upheavel c) animal cruelty d) the decimation of the family unit Please sign this petition and help me act to put children of all shapes and sizes in swim clothes that are far, far larger than they are. If you have even the slightest disdain for global warming, social upheaval, or decimated family units you will sign this position, and/or run to the nearest child wearing a swim suit and swap their swim suit out for the swim trunks of a 40 year old man.
