I fully support the downgrade of the Scajaquada expressway to a re-engineered 30 mph parkway, with appropriate traffic-calming changes between Grant Street and the Route 33 interchange. Agassiz Circle should be restored, and safe pedestrian crossings between both halves of the park be established. Parkside Avenue also needs further traffic calming.
I echo other comments regarding the inadvisability of the golf course taking up so much area of the park, but that's a concern for another time.

BORN AND RAISED IN BUFFALO,SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS PLAYING IN THAT PARK, FROM FOOTBALL FOR LAFAYETTE EVERY DAY,TO SLEDING AS A KID IN THE WINTER,TO CONCERTS, SHAKESPIRE IN THE PARK..ITS A GREAT PARK,,,KEEP IT SAFE FOR PEOPLE ,TO STILL ENJOY,ALONG WITH THE CHILDREN,AND GRAND CHILDREN....PERIOD....JUST DO IT,PEOPLE...HAVE A BLESSED DAY....

This really has to be done . For years I have always said why did they make a Indian trail into a expressway .

The beauty of the park needs to be the focus of that stretch of scajaqueda.

Put in speed bumps as well. Every 30 ft.

i love golf but I agree, the golf course needs to go. Allow more to go on deeper into the park and away from the roads. The roads should be for safe park access and exit. Once inside everything should be a fun relaxing park experience.

I urge you to hire local urban planners who have a specialty in walkable, bikable roads-- not a company like Bergmann Assoc who do not understand neighborhoods & urban living.

reconsider parking on Parkside on the residential side especially north of Jewett to Amherst.

that damn golf course should go too. Twice my kids were almost hit by errant golf balls. And it restricts parkgoers to the periphery where all the cars are.
