Although I am certainly not against entertainment that features music not the consumption of alcoholic beverages, I am totally opposed to moving such commercial
endeavors into a residential community that will not require special permits or allowing residents to vote on and be fully apprised of such zoning changes.

Not good for the residents of River Road Farms and Chesdin Manor subdivisions. Trash and noise are real concerns.

I oppose the new ordinance . We are a shift work family and it is already bad enough with the loud music booming down the streets at all hours of the day and night.

We moved to the country for the quiet, rural, environment. We already hear the race track. I do not want to hear additional noises.

Publicize this proposed change to all Dinwiddie County residents before this is passed. I oppose this proposed ammendment.

NO NO NO
1. How will this affect the environment???
2. Why make a blanket change to encourage more commercial development disguised as agra-tourism.
3. For such an enormous deviation to RR land this seems has not been properly discussed adequately.
***4. why has the vineyard invested so much time and money without securing approvals in advance....this stinks.

Between bass boxes, amps in vehicles, custom tail pipes and no tail pipes, especially on four wheelers, Dinwiddie County needs to tighten Noise Ordinances, not loosen them!

as for a single mom and a mom with 3 special needs children allowing venues on private property would cause so many behavior problems due to noise and increased traffic the lights and sounds of cars are tough as it is on the kids and interfere with there sleep and routines and its very important to keep and have routines when dealing with autism and other mental health and physical medical health issues we struggle every year with the month long fire works during summer months and the increasing traffic is dangerous for them.as well as it is hard enough to turn left at the intersection and to get out the driveway on a daily basis and the increase traffic puts them.at risk because they dont know about safety awareness and when the kids mind is set there is no changing it i also worry about the littering getting worse we pick up alcoholic beverage cans n bottles as well as trash from our yard ,ditch ,and driveway

I do not think homes should become party central and with only a 200’ setback. Do not change the noise ordnance. These homes and sites should not have preferred or special treatment than the rest.

A 200' setback is not sufficient to buffer party noises. Need to know how that set back was derived -- from logic or accommodation of preexisting or developing sites that have simply asked. Other counties set much higher set backs for agritourism or as they say agritainment for the events on farms/wineries areas.

The proposed changes could result in multiple "event centers" being permitted on any undeveloped land along the lake. Chesterfield County has much stricter regulations regarding noise, permitted uses, and agritourism development. Please let the Board of Supervisor Representative, Dr Moore, that you do not support the proposed changes at [email protected]
The noise is one factor but the traffic could be a disaster.

Our home is not a party zone. We can hear music played from across the lake. Do not allow the noise ordnance to be changed.
