Petition to Convert the LAU Fall 2024 Semester to a Fully Online Format Due to Ongoing Political and Security Instability

it's safer to continue our education online or via recorded sessions so we can ensure students safety and they can access videos whenever they get the chance to learn (problems they might face: Internet problems, dislocation...).

saftey is does not exist in lebanon.. we should go to online learning.. even in clinical / in person events and exams should be online

Online mandatory

Due to the instability in Lebanon, we request that the university shift to an online semester. This will ensure continuous learning and safety for us during these challenging times so we can access education without the disruptions caused by the current situation. m

Switch online

The situation is far worse than anyone could imagine my whole family expect for my mom lives in south Lebanon. It's so stressful to come to university through these times not knowing when another bombing will happen or if our parents and families are still safe. My mom calls me atleast 10 times before having to leave university rushing because they are bombing the suburbs or as usual my grandparent's house. It's so mentally draining having to rush out of university and sit there excepting news. Having the semester online is the safest option for our mental health and for our parents and families.

This is no safe time for us to be going daily to uni and study there

As a concerned parent, I think it may be best to finish the academic year online

Online for sure this semester its crazy if we dont i dont even think i can come to class im too scared
