Petition to Continue Commercial Activity at Caxambas Park

This is ridiculous legislation! Keep Caxambus and Goodland Boat parks as they are! Your county runs on tourist dollars! Can you truly afford to screw with that? I love my shelling tours! That’s why I travel from TN multiple times a year with my dollars that I spend in your county. Surely there is another way to make this work and not hurt those that are trying to make an honest living!!

We live in Collier County and love renting kayaks out of Caxambas Marina! New zoning will surely cause new problems…..

My family and I are going to making plans to visit the island! A shelling tour is at the top of our list of must do!!

These commercial tours bring business, tourists and revenue to Marco Island. Many of them repeat visitors who may not otherwise visit. It would be so very unfortunate if the ability for these businesses to operate out of your park was terminated and the impact on the livelihoods of those running these businesses would be detrimental. I hope you will reconsider this action.

Please allow the professional fishing guides to continue using this ramp as they need these to earn a living and keep their companies going

Please continue to allow shelling tours to go out from this park.

This is so sad to think that they are even considering this. Not only for all the businesses and their families, but those of us who look forward to being with you all on our vacations. Hours I spent with my daughters and other family members our in the 10000 islands...

Please do not close down the outdoor activities!!!!!!!

We enjoy lots of commercial activities operating out of the park...whether shelling tours or fishing. Don't put the small businesses out of business!

I have frequented this dock many times and removing the activities of some and keeping it open to others is simply UNFAIR!! To pick and choose who can and CANNOT use this area is something that is disheartening and will end the businesses of many! I frequent this area for recreation and love this area, but limiting it for only certain individuals is unfair, evil and bias. If anything should be done it’s add more parking! Look at other options instead of ending businesses of those that work so hard to bring visitors to your area!
