Petition to Continue Commercial Activity at Caxambas Park

I definitely have future plans to visit this area and would hate to think it was no longer accessible to me and others who would love to do the same. Please don't allow this to happen.

Those boat tours are WHY I come to Marco once or twice a year!

It should be everyone’s right to use and enjoy tax payer funded parks such as this and others around our beautiful cities.

I do not support this reduction in parking spaces at Collier County boat ramps. Tourism is a vital part of our local economy.

What is the boards reasoning for denying businesses to use the boat ramp?

Let the commercial boats and rentals continue.

Please allow the commercial business to continue using the parks and boat ramps

Please find an alternative that will not hurt people's livelihoods & tourism.

Please help businesses with More Parking

An unbelievable issue, these businesses have put Marco Island on the map for tourism. Taking these businesses away will just hurt Marco Island's revenue.

Please don’t take away charters. We ONLY came to Marco Island to go on the SWFL shelling tour that I learned about on TIK TOK. I live in VA and have told so many others about it.

Please do not shut down a major revenue source by shutting down the ramps and access to public lands and waterways!

Please do not shut down the ramps to the businesses. It is vital for your tourism.

I worked in city and county environmental health for 15 years enforcing knee jerk laws like this. If there's a problem then resolve it by looking at both sides and coming up with a reasonable solution. If you don't it will bring more problems, not less.

Keep the access to business, but maybe limit them. Some tour operators have been doing it for years and are very knowledgeable, others seem to be fly by night, I have seen one that was delivering electric rental cars as well as wave runners.

No one will want to visit your beaches if they can’t enjoy doing excursions when the plan a visit. I would imagine it’s all of the boating tours and businesses that involve boats that draw in the visitors and bring business to you city as well. Seems to be bad planning to eliminate revenue for your city.

Please consider re-zoning to allow commercial boating from this park. There are so many of us who are not locals that enjoy the beautiful 10,000 islands.

Please continue to allow commercial businesses to utilize county parks as departure points for their tours.

Please don’t stop the tours!
