THE BOARD OFFICIALLY VOTED TO PROTECT OUR ROADS AND WE ABSOLUTELY WON THIS BATTLE!! I AM SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL THAT WE STUCK TOGETHER TO KEEP OUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAFE FROM EXCESSIVE TRAFFIC. STAY VIGILANT AS THE CONSTRUCTION MOVES FORWARD BECAUSE WE ARE NOW THE WATCHDOGS OF OUR OWN STREETS!!
WE,
the undersigned, residents and taxpayers of the Indian Trail
Improvement District, hereby urge the Board of Supervisors of ITID to
proceed with taking any and all steps as may be necessary to protect our
entire community from the negative traffic effects of the Minto West
proposal. Such steps would include, but not be limited to, closing off
access to the privately owned roads in our community being 44th Street N/Orange
Grove Boulevard, Persimmon Boulevard, 60th Street North, while still
allowing our residents access via alternate routes or methods; and/or
using a variety of traffic calming measures for any of the remaining
privately owned road network, where “cut-thru” traffic of new Minto West
residents might occur.
WE ARE BLASTING TOWARD 250 SIGNATURES AND THE PRESSURE IS WORKING!! KEEP THIS MOMENTUM RAGING BY BLASTING THE LINK OUT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW RIGHT NOW!!
June 19, 2014
I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO SO MANY NEIGHBORS LATELY AND THE CONCERN ABOUT THIS TRAFFIC IS ABSOLUTELY REAL!! WE ARE PREPARING TO BRING ALL OF THESE SIGNATURES DIRECTLY TO THE BOARD SO THEY CANNOT IGNORE OUR DEMANDS FOR SAFE STREETS!!
