Sign this petition to close down all of the Lowell mills, and stop the cruel treatment of mill girls! Many mill girls work for 12+ hours a day and get paid only $0.45 per week! Many girls also often got injured while working at the mills and suffered hearing loss, and often were hit by lose bobbins and giant wheels! The mills were also poorly ventilated and were kept extremely human to create the cloth correctly. In conclusion, we must stop this terrible treatment of the workers at the mills and the only way to do this is to sign this petition to get others attention!
