I dont think yhe holiday should exist. Just as in nursing, practices should not continue simply because of habit. ... evidence based care... and we should not celebrate this man.

I wasn't taught very much Indigenous history in school, which was disappointing. We owe First People a lot, especially after how the government has treated them in the past. States have started doing this on their own, and it needs to be done nationally. Columbus was a racist murderer, so why celebrate him?
