We, the concerned students of A&T, have started this petition to ask that, if administration feels the need to cancel ALL the student programs of Aggie Fest for safety reasons, that the football game also be cancelled. It is just as much a safety risk as any of the student organization programs, but it seems as if because it is going to make the university "more money" it is being allowed to stand. If safety is truly the university's concern, then the game should also be cancelled. We have reached out to administration with no answer yet, so this petition is to show the solidarity among the student body on this matter. Please immediately cancel the football game or we will have to take our protest to next level.

The administration remains silent despite our repeated attempts to demand clarity on why the football game gets an exemption while our events are sidelined. Watching them pick and choose which programs are worth the risk confirms that profit matters more to this school than the safety of the students.

The administration thought they could ignore us while they prioritized profit over the safety of our students. Seeing the campus unite like this proves they can no longer pretend we are invisible.

SMH. Selective safety is what this is called. Either it’s all dangerous or nothing is.
Money over students again. Typical A&T administration.
They always do this. Rules for us but not for the football players.
Exactly. They keep preaching safety but it just looks like they only care about the ticket sales.
Cancel it all or let us have our fun. Sick of the double standards on this campus.
