I find the publicly displayed attachment on the BOE website disturbing. Like most controversies where emotions run high common sense is lost. The attachment cherry picks the verbage from the First Amendment and the Establishment Clause. Item 13 on this attachment could be perceived as limiting student and parent participation in anything that can be reasonably believed to be supported by the district. This is very ambiguous wording.

This has become an issue of freedom of speech and needs to be addressed. Basic rights are being infringed upon by organizations like this who attempt to stifle the right to express our beliefs freely -a concept this upon which this nation was founded.

These teachers have just as many rights to believe in God and not have to be careful of everything they do and say as those that don't. Don't try to take away from them and our children just because someone is uncomfortable around it. I see and hear thing everyday from non-Christians that makes me uncomfortable but I don't try to tell them they can't do what they do. This is ridiculous!

I never dreamed I would see the day where a petition would be needed to pray in public. What's next? No crosses can be warn, no Fellowship of Christian Athletes? Absolutley heartbreaking.

I don't know why it says I am from Chesterfield SC. I didn't see anywhere to put my hometown but I livr in Swainsboro GA. I want to put a stop to this absurdity before it reaches our schools. If we as christians don't stand for something we will fall for anything.

I no longer live in Bulloch County, However I grew up there and still own property that I pay taxes on every year. I feel that this so called "political correctness has gone way to far. Our Country was founded so we could have religeous freedoms. Please, lets keep it this way.

We need to stop caving in to the voice of fringe activists that don't represent ideals of the majority.
