This is a violation of the teachers first amendment rights.

enough is enough, I moved my family to Statesboro precisely to escape the agenda of those would have us abandon that which makes STatesboro the nice community it is...

We need God in our schools, our lives, our homes and our communities add well as our country.

Leave prayer in the school. Let the teachers be involved.

I dont want to take the chance of removing prayer from our schools. It is important to me to have the right for my kids to pray when they feel it necessary.

"If you don't like it, you are welcome to move". Really?? No one is trying to dictate your beliefs, tell you what you can believe in or how to practice your religion. If you want your children raised as Christians then you are free to do so. If you lived in an area where Christianity was not the religion of the majority, would you want your children being taught by teachers who were preaching a religion that wasn't yours? The Christians on this thread are demonstrating a remarkable amount of hate and intolerance, along with a tremendous lack of charity and empathy.

Don't let the people who complained about this issue get away with this. Those people will go on to complain about other things and take away more freedoms of the teachers in Buloch County.

Let God be in school. The world is a better place with Him in our lives.

We as Christians must stand up for what the Word of God declares. The Word of God teaches us to Pray and call upon His name. I am thankful that God has put it in the hearts of our young people to pray. Let's stand up with them firmly for what is their right.

Shame on the BOE for giving in to the minority once again. Be sure your sins will find you out as my 9th grade English teacher always told us in class! Too bad there are not more teachers like Mrs. F. Roach and too bad English is not taught like it should.

Separation of church and state deems that the state cannot dictate religion on the citizens. It was not intended to force the citizens to his their religion!

Christians should have the rights extended to all other religions. Bulloch Co. Christians, please take a stand for Jesus.
