We, the players and community members of Rec Room, respectfully request the return of the classic bean body/avatar style that many of us grew up with and loved. The classic bean body wasn’t just a design, it was a huge part of Rec Room’s unique identity, charm, and welcoming vibe.

With recent changes to avatar styles and the push toward modernization, Rec Room feels like it is losing some of the creativity and simplicity that made it special. Many players believe the new systems make the game feel more generic, causing long-time players to leave and discouraging returning players who feel disconnected from the new direction.

We understand that change and innovation are important, but we also believe in preserving what made Rec Room stand out from other VR and social platforms. By reintroducing the classic bean body, even as an optional avatar choice, you can give players the freedom to express themselves while keeping Rec Room’s roots alive.

Our requests are simple:

1. Bring back the option to use the classic bean body alongside newer avatar styles.
2. Respect the nostalgia and preferences of the long-time community who helped build Rec Room into what it is today.
3. Recognize that modernization alone isn’t always what keeps a game strong—listening to the community does.

Rec Room should be about creativity, fun, and community, not just following trends. Please bring back the bean body that made us fall in love with the game in the first place.
