How could an omission like this happen. We are talking about American workers on public land being put out of work by foreign capital interests. It’s insane. This is an act of war by a foreign entity.

This is an all out war on American jobs and will pinky be the beginning of the end to the immediate areas of the port. Don't let San Pedro, Wilmington, and Long Beach become another Detroit.

This article mentions the prevention of job loss. While Maersk says it will introduce UNMANNED, autonomous equipment despite whether the application was approved or denied is blatant disrespect. The Pma, and Port director said jobs will be created at Maersk through training to work with newly introduced automated/unmanned equipment. This makes absolutely no sense. Hundreds, if not thousands of jobs will be eliminated if this process is to proceed. Not to mention the technology being used is guesswork at best. The country of Brussels is denying this new technology because it's government is unsure how it's citizens' health will be affected. San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bellevue, Washington, and Portland Oregon all have created lawsuits disputing the use of this unhealthy technology. At the Weston elementary school in San Joaquin County, parents have begun a lawsuit due to multiple children developing cancer linked to the installation of 5g towers. If this does not create a moment of pause, then I guess nothing will. Please amend the Port master plan and put people before profits!!
Save our jobs
