Petition to Allow Regency Acres Equal Zoning Standards
The Regency Acres subdivision has been designated a “Stable Neighbourhood” and as such will be impacted by restrictive limitations on redevelopment of our properties - currently being considered by Aurora Town Council. These limitations will place Regency Acres Property Owners at a disadvantage in regard to our property rights and negatively impact our property values
We, the undersigned, are concerned Regency Acres Property Owners who urge Aurora Council to:
- Avoid negatively impacting our property values by setting unfair restrictions that are not applied in other Aurora neighbourhoods
- Allow our properties equal lot coverage and dimensions that are provided to other neighborhoods in Aurora at 35 percent lot coverage
- Not set a limit to maximum gross floor area requirements but rather base the footprint on lot coverage percentage
- Allow building height and measurement - and property setbacks equal to other Aurora neighbourhoods
- Reconsider the Stable Neighbourhood designation
