He should have every right to be able to participate in this, it's senior year, why hold him back from his last opportunity?

I knew him in my freshman year & he motivated me to be better in JROTC and in school. He made a mistake & he's paying for it. Let him play on the team and do what he loves.

Instead if worrying about why a kid was in trouble in the past, maybe they ought to think about how much football and usher sports keep so many student athletes out of trouble.

Ive known Julian since he was in elementary and he had many sleep overs with my boys. His mother has done an amazing job at raising this honorable young man. This is a sad and unfortunate accident and my heart goes out to both families. Julian, given his history of non violence and excellent school performance, genuinely deserves a chance to play football.

Mistakes do not define people. Instead he should take this opportunity to not only learn but grow and taking away his right to play for the school and focus on the good in his life is not right.

Let this young man play. Teenagers can do a lot of stupid things and as adults, who Should know better, shouldn't we make this a teaching moment and show compassion. Our youth of today face many challenges and one of the ways to subside some of that is by keeping them busy. This is a no brainer! I hope your decision reflects what you believe our youth should be.

He deserves to play! Everyone makes a mistake at some point in life! That's just a part of life! All that he is going through right now with hopes to be allowed to play again will be an eye opener for him.
