In NYS fire districts can apply for the NYS Critical Infrastructure Grant Program, except Incorporated Fire Companies such as the Great Neck Alerts, great Neck Vigilants, Albertson, and East Farmingdale Fire Companies. Even though these departments provide fire and ems services to critical infrastructure such as the US Merchant Marine Academy and Republic Airport.
