Petition to Allow Backyard Chickens in Plum, PA

I see nothing wrong in having chickens as your pets and they give you eggs too, what else can you ask for.

There is no reason why boro officials should be stopping people from raising chickens

This is a free Country Right? And I think we pay enough in taxes to have a say In what we want.

It is allowed everywhere else. We have a half acre, with woods behind us and we aren't allowed. So silly.

I had backyard chickens when I lived in Forest Hills and would love to have them again. I currently live at the end of a dead end street with enough space to rotate a chicken tractor.

I would also like to give my support to having 3-4 (chickens) for educational and agricultural purposes.

I have almost a half acre and just want 3-4 chickens. City of Pgh allows chickens. Come on Plum!
