No offense but if it was in the wealthy area. No doubt. They wouldn’t close it. Some people can’t afford any transport and have to walk. Not cool. The projects are right behind this store.

The Kroger store on South Limestone is the only retail grocery outlet available to hundreds, if not thousands of South Side Springfield residents. Closing this store would have a negative impact on those citizens, especially those who are elderly, indigent and/or people of color.

I prefer to shop at Kroger because they make decisions that I agree with: they are a union company, and they recently decided to ban plastic bags. I am asking Kroger to be a leader again and keep the S.Limestone Springfield Ohio store OPEN, because this store is vital for the people in the area. Kroger can help prevent a #FoodDesert here - it is such a problem in Ohio. Please keep that store open!
