Petition to Address Year Back 2022 & 2023 batch (2025-2026 Academic year)

Having 15 credits till now need to pass my supplementary registered so that I can get 21 credits. And it is also very unfortunate that in the 2019 scheme batch only 2023-27 batch is applicable on this and not the others. It should be fair if all are treated the same and this year out is removed

Please cancel the year back system for current S7 and S5 batches.

Please consider promoting the 22–23 batch without a year back. Many students have faced challenges beyond their control during that academic period.It would be more fair to assess the 22–23 batch with leniency due to academic disruptions and mental health challenges many faced during that time. A year back could severely affect students' careers and morale. Alternative academic solutions should be explored for the 22–23 batch.

Respected Governor Of Kerala, I hope this email finds you well. My name is,kashi and I am writing to express my concerns regarding the "year back" regulation enforced by Kalam Technological University (KTU), which profoundly affects students currently in their other semester, including myself. The "year back" policy mandates that 2023-2027 batch students with Insufficient credits from the first two semesters (below 21) face the severe consequence of repeating a year or being transferred to another university. This regulation has ignited significant distress among students and has underscored several pressing issues that require immediate attention and resolution. While acknowledging the Importance of maintaining academic standards, the current application of this regulation appears to overlook the individual circumstances and challenges that students may confront throughout their academic journey. Many students, myself Included, have encountered unforeseen obstacles or personal setbacks that have hindered our ability to fulfill the credit requirements within the stipulated timeframe. These challenges encompass a spectrum ranging from health issues to financial constraints and difficulties on less working days and no consideration in supplementary exams. In light of these concerns, I urge the university back" regulation and to extend a lifeline to students who find themselves in such precarious adonistration to reconsider its stance on the Reply
