Dear KTU, As a student facing the possibility of a year back, I humbly request the university to reconsider the year back system. Many students go through academic struggles due to various personal, health, or financial reasons, and a year back not only affects academic progress but also mental health and future opportunities. Instead of holding students back for an entire year, we urge you to explore more flexible and supportive systems—such as supplementary chances, improvement exams, or academic support programs—that help us progress while still being accountable for our performance.
