Please avoid the yearback system if it was has happen we want to complete btech 2 schme and life of many students will be threatened

Avoid this year back so many students are struggling with mental breakdown due to this . Kindly avoid it

The year back system under the 2019 scheme of KTU has been a topic of intense concern and discussion among students. While it is intended to uphold academic standards and ensure that students have a solid understanding of core subjects, its rigid implementation often causes undue stress and hampers academic progress. Many students face year back due to backlogs in a few subjects, sometimes even after performing well in others. This disproportionate penalty can demotivate students and lead to mental health issues, especially in a system where internal assessments and lab performances also play a significant role. A more flexible and student-friendly approach—like allowing students to move forward with arrears up to a certain limit—would be more effective in encouraging learning while also supporting students' overall growth. KTU should consider reforms that focus on continuous academic support rather than harsh penalties, ensuring that the system remains fair and promotes genuine learning outcomes.

Please consider promoting the 22–23 batch without a year back. Many students have faced challenges beyond their control during that academic period.It would be more fair to assess the 22–23 batch with leniency due to academic disruptions and mental health challenges many faced during that time. A year back could severely affect students' careers and morale. Alternative academic solutions should be explored for the 22–23 batch.

Remove year back system

No need of year back this year for S5 and S7

As the current b tech students there exams was conducted on overall 60 marks and they need only 18 marks or 24 marks to pass but our situation is entirely different we are so hard to got 40 marks out of 100 so please remove the year back system otherwise our life and future will definetely spoiled please take it as serious and please remove this system for the, current s4 students
