Pressuring students to complete their courses within a fixed duration only results in a large number of graduates with limited knowledge. Instead of forcing them to earn credits under pressure, students should be given enough time to truly understand and absorb the material. The credit system should be reformed to allow a limited number of exam attempts per subject—such as eight tries for one exam—while incorporating a balanced mix of mandatory and elective courses, similar to foreign universities. Education should focus on real learning, not just on accumulating pressured knowledge.

As a student directly affected by this decision, I strongly believe the recent changes to the KTU credit system are unfair and detrimental to our academic and career prospects. We request the authorities to reconsider and adopt a more student-friendly and transparent approach that upholds the quality and integrity of education
