Petition to Address Year Back 2022 & 2023 batch (2025-2026 Academic year)

I am a b.tech CSE cyber security student in KTU, there are unwanted syllabus in there why the syllabus in KTU, in the kerala there no good syllabus and updation ,im also in 2019 syllabus scheme, I dont want year back in KTU

For the Removal of yearback system

We request KTU to reconsider and remove the 47-credit eligibility rule for the 2022-2026 B.Tech batch.This rule has caused unnecessary academic pressure and emotional distress to students, many of whom are still recovering from learning gaps caused by the pandemic. Its unfair to enforce a rule that affects students' progression and future based on a rigid credit system. Please support us in making education more flexible and student-friendly

This can literally affect my mental health and current academic performance ,adding more stress to the heavy syllabus.I hope the authority can understand the pressure on this decision and do the favourable response.

Withdraw year back scheme

Please consider promoting the 22–23 batch without a year back. Many students have faced challenges beyond their control during that academic period.It would be more fair to assess the 22–23 batch with leniency due to academic disruptions and mental health challenges many faced during that time. A year back could severely affect students' careers and morale. Alternative academic solutions should be explored for the 22–23 batch.

No year back scheme

It will be very difficult to adjust to a whole new curriculum after two years of studying a different one(2019 scheme) so please consider this as a request as it can affect us mentally.

Cradit is not allowed

KTU year back is the worst thing student will have to face in their 4 year course. They have to share classes with their juniors with embarassment. So i hearby sign this petition against KTU year back
