We request the authorities to reconsider the harsh year back system under KTU. Students are not being given sufficient time to prepare, as university exams are often held within 2–3 months of the semester's start. The promised 6-month semester rarely happens in practice. Moreover, results are delayed, the portal is often inaccessible on crucial days, and the evaluation process lacks transparency and consistency. These systemic issues are not the students’ fault—yet we are the ones paying the price with our academic futures. We urge the university to prioritize student welfare and education quality by removing the year back system and ensuring a fairer academic process.
